I do not know whether the company is a legitimate business, but I would try to g et hosting from other places such as The Planet, Softlayer, or FDCServer. These companies are known worldwide, and are legitimate.

I wouldn't buy my hosting over ebay, did it once and my site was down all the time. Go with well know hosting companies.

Nice, you just hit it dead on -

    Check this https://www.burst.net/servers.shtml

So now another question - Is burst net reliable? and do they offer reseller programs or is this a possible rip off from there site?

Yea I wouldn't buy hosting from an ebay auction either. I'd try the planet, ubiquitous, hostgator, etc.

Last time I was with them, their service was good enough. I also know some companies working as their resellers, and they are good firms too. So, if you want a cheap server, it seems a good choice

Burstnet is a long established hosting company. They do offer reseller packages but it would be difficult to say if it is a rip off from their site or not. To play safe, just buy direct from Burstnet.

From my experience, I suggest you to go with good companies such as sambahosting (www.sambahosting.com) or hostgator (www.hostgator.com) . I went behind some webhosting companies looking for the cheapest packages and that all end in a bad way.

Now, I have a reseller account with sambahosting and their support team is top-notch.

I follow one important rule, if in doubt don't do it and go someplace else. Check out Hostgator or Bluehost they are a safe choice.

For dedicated server I don't think Hostgator or Bluehost is known for tht, try Softlayer or The Planet or Verio which is solid
