I know many of you disable google content network because the clicks are much much less targeted + Click fraud. But do you guys believe its good to keep the "google search partners" tag active?
Generally I turn it off, especially when doing really specific geo targeting because I don't trust the other search engines to target the searchers I want as acurrately as google. However at times, when I just want to increase volume of traffic I'll turn it on
In the old days the main partners were just ask.com and aol.com who I pretty much trust, but there are a few sites lately that really are more like ad farms than search engines. They have "search results" that are all ads. So lately and especially when I am starting a new campaign I do google.com only. Even that includes google images, gmail etc so its spreading things out. Then if I can make it work at google.com and I need more traffic, I add the search network. I pretty much don't use the content network for the most part, been burned too many times.
search partners proved to be worthless for me so i took them off my campaign. it depends on your campaign. some do well with search partners and content network and some don't.
