$50 Logo and Banner Contest - No clowning around (see inside)

Hey !

Finally found the domain I've been looking for and it's www.bubso.com. Looking for cartoon clown themed logo, with probably just the face and hands showing.

No specific size or colours in mind, as I'll have the website designed around the logo. In addition to the logo will also need a 468x60 and 728x90 banner.

Payment by PayPal to the winner, and looking to get this within the next 48 hours...

It's not quite what I had in mind. That clown is more comical, and I'm probably thinking more stylized or a caricature of a clown. (really hard to express)

For some reason I keep thinking of this clown, although obviously need something much lighter and happier...

okay, now that's just a bit too psychedelic. background is WAY too far out there, and most likely either needs to be white or some other solid color.

 

feels too retro, and we don't need to see that much of the clown. there doesn't need to be a body, or even the hands.

think clown face, and maybe with disembodied hands thrown up in surprise or mime like ?

definately looks better with the white background, but the clown isn't quote right...

don't think i like the orange polkadot hat, but the crazy hair has potential... not a big fan of the site name where it is either...

sorry, you posted while i was replying to the other post...

the balloon doesn't look right at all. i think we definately need to see the clown's face, but then the body and the hands are completely optional.

ideally the name should flow horizontally, so that the design is going to lend itself to the creation of a 468 and a 728 banner as well...

 

i don't think i like that hat at all... i did like the hair sticking out the sides though, so maybe expand on that once the hat comes off ?
