My visitors seem to hang around on average for about 3 minutes. I've even had some dudes who stay for 1/2 hour or so according to Google Analytics. Does anyone think that the average time on site is a good measure of the potential clickthrough for Adsense ads??
. No I don't think so. If some one is clicking on the ads then he or she is going to some other site from your site and he will not give that value to average time. So if some one is staying for longer time that means he is actually liking your website and he does not want to click on ads.
But You forget That if a visitor stay for a longer time in your site that means possibility of showing an Ad that may attract him to click ; and the level of blending is also important to say yes or not
Even if that can't be converted into clicks finally, it is still a good thing to see and to prove the quality of your site.
No, i think if someone is hanging around they have already missed the ads, something else on your site has caught their attention and appealing to them.
