suddenly alexa said No rank :(

hi,

i've alexa addon installed for firefox, while adding content in my blog i saw "No Rank" at that tool I then opened alexa site and again checked but there also No Data.
my site: recoveryandforensic dot net

i've also checked at three different ISP (my home, office and neighbours )
but same no data available..!

I'm getting this since yesterday, don't know what had happened.

Do i need to worry about ?

What might had happened, any idea, or have you ever faced such situation ?

 

Give it a bit, there's probably a problem with the network or alexa is updating your rank, so it could show that for a bit.

Why are you worrying about Alexa rank?

 

There are lots of people and advertising network that do care more about traffic rather than (i hate even to pronounce it!) google's pr..
A simple example? AdToll.com an advertising network where sales and prices are configured by alexa pr!

Don't worry, if you had a good alexa pr, you'll get it back at the next update! Just be a little patient!

yes .... yesterday it was around 13,xxx,xxx two days back it was only 1,3xx,xxx

and it is going more on worst side

being worrying about alexa rank is that i think, it is open to view to all
its get hard to show off you site if someone ask for like if u r selling it, selling ads etc etc...

however, according to webstats
i'm getting 123 uniques in last two days 1000+ page views and 1500+ hits

 

The same thing happened to one of my sites and it was fine within a week.

lol, dude, you have no idea how much i faced it , I say Alexa is not accurate.
Sometimes it takes my rank in Top 100,000, and my site doesnt have so much traffic yet, still it takes so High, and sometimes, it sends me back like, 1,300,xxx. I have stopped worrying about it

 

This is the first time I hear that

 

Alexa is supposed to give a rank based on traffic, and is not accurate as Knight1234 noted.

Why even care about Alexa rank when you can look at your server logs and get 100% accurate information? If your traffic is not growing, that is reason to be concerned and not with some inaccurate number from Alexa.

I think I was about 50 millionth on Alexa last time I looked.

The only way is up (hopefully).

 

What's the age of your site?

 

Are you intending to sell your site some time soon? If not Alexa rank is just another useless metric that has little to no bearing on the rankings or profitability of your site.

 

Try to check your alexa again or reinstall it if necessary.
