Question for UK AdSense members (urgent)

    Hi there,

I just received my first AdSense check in local currency (£70).

However, the check says on it "For Citibank Europe plc" as the Payee and also "Payable at Citibank CRS Account" and then the address for the london Citibank location.

The problem is I live nowhere near London.

Can I cash this check at other banks, such as Halifax or HSBC, or is it strictly only Citibank?

Else if not, I'm pretty much screwed and just lost £70.

Thanks for that Adulu. I'm a bit less concerned now.

Can anyone from the UK comment?

    Thanks.

I just take mine into natwest, hand it over. sign a piece of paper and walk away knowing it gets sorted out.

There shouldnt be any problem. Or at least i've never had a problem.

    Hope that helps

    Regards
    DK

I don't think that for clearing the check Citybank's a/c is required.

Why don't you just have it paid straight into your bank account rather than being sent a cheque? That's what I do..
