Adsense on My Directory

the majority of visitors to a general free directory only ever see the submit page, infact, as they use automated or semi -auto software, they never see the directory at all, just the captcha

The other thing is that these directories don't appear to rank in the SERPs, besides, they're all full of duplicate content

Its hard enough to get 1 directory to rank in the serps, to get 200 to rank, that must be something

 

All money is good money though, hard to find the balance between good use and over use, I am currently over using it, but should have that fixed in a few days!

 

your ads block is ok... and maybe you can add the ads block again at the footer... it' nice too. i like your site.

How it's against TOS,submit page is like any other page?

 

real stats for a random month ... 4607 uniques >> 9 clicks >> $0.30

perhaps I could have done different ad placement and optimized better but wtf? 1000% better is only $3 ... so I just took it down as it was causing other sites to get smart priced by Gg.

End result? Taking adsense off my directories actually made me more money in the big picture.

Do your own math, those that are making $10 are most likely fraud candidates

Its automated and there is nothing like to click compolsory or click by misleading

I'm not 100% certain on the ruling, but I believe you need to check into it. The issue is there's no content on a submit page.

 

One may easily interpret the last two AdSense AdPlacement policies as no directories period.

Well I tried once, placing adsense on my free directory getting around 300 uniques day. But hardly made $5 to $8 month from Adsense. Also there is a risk of placing adsense as sometimes adsense ads appear on empty category pages with no content which is again against the TOS.
