G'day DP's I will admit that at this very point in time, I am only making inquiries, however I am interested to know how much it would cost me to get someone on this forum to help me set up a Word Press site. Basically I would be looking for someone who could talk me through the following processes: - Registering a Domain name, signing up for hosting and linking it all to my Word Press. - Helping me set up my Word Press, by providing advice on chosing a template and providing me advice on on how to customise the site to my needs. - Advicing me on the best plug ins to use, how to install them etc. - Providing me with advice on how to manage and further inprove the site. I am trying to do it all my self at the moment, but being my first time, it is a bit daunting. So i thought I would just make this post to see how much it would cost me if I was looking to get someone to assist me. Feel free to post here or send me a PM. Cheers Jake

You can always find some basic info for free. However, if you are building a professional site, using WP not only as a blogging platform but a complete CMS (Content Management System ex. http://www.orangutan-appeal.org.uk/) you can easily expect anything around from $80 to above. Depends on complexity of your wesbite/blog. You can either look around here or on the web. Anyway, do establish the authenticity and expertise of whoever you choose to assign this project to. It will save you a lot of $$ in re-doing your site/blog. Hope it helps. Another good example of WP as CMS http://www.imagecubes.com/?page_id=3&category=11
Hi Jake, Rather than just post the answers to your questions here (so you can save your hard earned money), I decided I'd ask for your permission to answer them instead. Would you be ok with me answering the questions you asked here on the thread, or would you prefer I PM you instead?
