I think a lot of people have distorted ideas about women in Islam.

My friend introduced me to his professor, who taught geology. The professor's wife dressed very traditionally, kept the home, was fairly quiet/demure, raised the kids, and had a PhD in Chemistry, spending her time as a researcher and author.

While I'm not saying this is the norm, it's not the only situation I know of like this...

 

There are already a number of females in the US version of islam. But I highly doubt you would get them to be a part of the true islam, many would run. Most of the muslim women in Ashland, Oregon are feminists and practice a type of islam that would be condemned in places like Saudi Arabia or Iran.

 

Why are so many Women converting to Islam ?

Women were given rights to Vote less than a 100 years ago in the (US), while the Quran (42:38) gave Women Voting rights almost 1,500 years ago.

Islam has unconfined Women and has given them the human right to reach for the sky. There have been Muslim Women Presidents through out the centuries, but to this date, the oppressive mentality of the men in the Western U.S.A. has stopped any Women from becoming Presidents in predominately Christian countries, while the Muslim countries have voted for and elected Female Presidents.

The Bible Allows Multiple Wives{I Kings 11:3} In The Koran, God limits the number to 4 only under certain situations (with the Wife's permission)and Prefers you Marry Only One Wife{ Qur'an 4:3} The Koran gives the Woman the Right to Choose who to Marry.

The Bible Forbids Women from Speaking in church {I Corinthians 14:34-35}. The Qur'an says Women Can argue with the Prophet {58:1}

The Bible says "The Birth of a Daughter is a loss" {Ecclesiasticus 22:3}. The Qur'an says both are an Equal Blessing { Qur'an 42:49}

The Bible Convicts Women as the original Sinners, (ie. Eve picking from the forbidden tree) {Genesis 2:4-3:24}. The Koran Clarifies it was Adam Not Eve {Qur'an 7:19-25}

In the Bible, divorced Women are Labeled as an Adulteress, while men are not {Matthew 5:31-32}. The Koran does Not have Biblical double standards
{ Qur'an 30:21}

The Bible also asks Women to wear veils as in Islam {I Corinthians 11:3-10}, this lowers the chance of rape, (God Forbid), see statistic link below.

You probably are under the belief that Christians are attacking islam or muslims and that all US military are somehow "christian" or represent "christians" and so in your view Iraq is being attacked by Christians because there are muslims there. You should stop believing everything and start questioning everything and getting proof before passing judgement or pasting what others say. To paste such poorly contrived works of lies it makes you out to be the fool more than the author of those lies.

Also, just one of those assumptions (lies) from above about Eve being blamed for the original sin - Who did God tell Not to eat of the tree? And what did that person do when Eve took from that tree?

 

The verse you posted debunked can only be interpreted the same way, it is saying a daughter is a loss to the father. But lets not go offtopic, your trying to smokescreen the fact that 10's of thousands of Christian women are converting to Islam every year!

It's true, Women have it great in islam... In fact, There are specific guidelines on how to beat your wife.

I wonder how converts would react to being beating according to islam....

The millions of Muslims who chose to live in the West instead of in Islamic countries says a lot more about Islam that those that convert to Islam.

Following your logic, one can conclude that Muslims don't like Islamic countries since many more people each year move from Islamic countries than move to them.

If Islam is so great how come you live a Western country instead of living under Islamic law in an Islamic country? Another Muslim deciding living in the West is better than living in an Islamic country. LOL.

What conclusion can one draw about the Muslims who don't want to live in Islamic countries other than they see something better for them in the West.

If people move from the east to west for better job oppertunities they don't change religion aswell.

 

Better opportunities in the West that in Islamic countries. LOL. Exactly, Islamic countries cannot even support their own people, they are forced to move to the West for the opportunities it provides. Yet, you tell everyone in the West how great Islam is and how great Islamic law is - but the reality is that Muslims have to flee Islam to the West for opportunities that Islamic countries simply can't and don't provide.

So according to you, countries in the east are poor because of Islam. LOL. The east is poor in general, but it is going to overtake the west soon, while you will be living on food coupons and begging the state to provide you with water.
