Yahoo just added a over 30,000 inlinks to the list for one of my websites, but I haven't added very many links lately. I would like to see where Yahoo found these links in case someone is trying to sabotage my SEO. I use the Yahoo webmaster tools, but you can't view more than the first 1000 links in there. I also looked at the API but it has the same limitation. Is there any way to get the full URLs of all of the links if you have more than 1000?
I also tried to find a way to see more than 1000 links in yahoo site explorer but couldn't find any way to do so
I think this would be difficult the most I've seen has been 1000. If there is a way to see more links I would like to know how.
That is not true, you wont be able to see more than 1000 links. I think there is no way to see it. Only some one from Yahoo might give reply to this.
Why dont you try google webmasters tool it will show you all inbound links for your site, just create your account their and insert code in your site which they provide you.
I use Google webmaster tools already. But they only update the stats for inbound links every 4 weeks or so - Yahoo is much quicker to count new links. I just wish you could see what they were after the first 1000.
There is no way to see more than the first 1000 links. The only half solution is to check incoming links for individual pages and you might get a more detailed report, try domain.com and domain.com/index.html for example (many webmasters make the mistake of having links to both pages). If all the links are going to only one page than you won't see more than the first 1000.
Using Yahoo Site Explorer there is no way of seeing more than the first 1000 likns as has already been said. If you own a site however you can create a Google Webmasters account entry for the site and see more links if you have them. You still might not see all links, but the probability is that you'll see all the ones that affect your site's ranking in SERPs.
