Yahoo & Google groups

hi everybody,

i have joined in yahoo and google groups, can it help me for increase my website traffic as well as increase search engine ranking for specific keyword?

 

No, it wont help to get higher ranking for your keywords..
i think you are new to SEO, just try to read post here you will learn useful techniques to gain good search rankings.

Groups will help you to get more traffic if you post your site's link in post.

 

I would suggest using Google Group

 

Yahoo has a no follow attribute to begin with as for the traffic it depends on what kind of groups you're in.

i cud help in getting some traffic ... but not in getting rankings !!

 

i wud say groups are not the right way, if you r looking for gain some PR incriment. And if you say about traffic then i don't think that they provide gud traffic for site. Depends upon your Group. But do not give more time to these types of groups. ..........................

 

Yes you can drive traffic from Yahoo Groups and Google Groups even they use no-follow attribute. Interact with them, talk with them and find out..visit their blogs and sites..post comment etc.

 

both are good for getting traffic, but won't directly affect your rankings.
