Hey, im selling this new site iv been working on with friends. Its a phpBB forum hosting service, the script is finally done and all the mods are installed.
It has loads of features, can you guys please review it and post if your willing to purchase it
Or otherwise, wait untill i let it grow and advertise it around the web.

the script is phpbbhs, but im going to start modding it such as adding a module where forum admins can pay via paypal and automatically remove ads in their phpbb admin panel

the site hasnt been advertised or anything, i only finished installing the last mod (SEO MOD) a few hours ago.

I will post screenshots of the admincp later, for security i have changed the location of the admin panel and added extra security too it (than the default phpbbhs script)

are the forums also being hosted on a windows server or just the management and frontside?

 

Whole site is hosted on shared hosting, costing me $20 a year. I've been with my host for years, I asked them and the site is allowed. Its a Linux cPanel server, all the files are coded in PHP. I am using .aspx to cover up the extension, this can be changed to anything you want by editing two files. This is one of the best features, it makes the site look really professional.
The script has many features, such as custom domains > http://forums.mbd5882.net/ is hosted with MultiForums

Is there anyway to put ads on the hosted forums? Also is the script unique?

 

Script has been purchased, i am a developer and am hoping to code some more features in it such as paying to remove ads, install more mods, etc. (This script will ONLY work with multiforums.org as the main domain)

There is advertising module which allows you to place php/html code onto ad forums (in loads of diff places, even as announcements on all hosted forums or in between topic lists for all forums), i currently use a google analytics code and a forum hosted by multiforums code.

Full feature list:
* Script uses only one set of files to run thousands of forums, and every forum has its own tables in database not shared with other forums.
* Modular control panel where you can administrate all forums. Because control panel is modular, you can add/remove features yourself by adding or removing modules.
* Multiple databases. Administrator can select which database new forums will be using, move forums from one database to another for load balancing between database servers.
* Subdomains for forums. All hosted forums will have their own subdomains, like user1.multiforums.org, user2.multiforums.org, etc...
* Multiple domain names, custom domain names. You can setup as many domain names as you want, so users could select which one to use. For example, a user can use myforum.multiforums.org or myforum.anotherdomain.com if you setup domain1.com and domain2.com. You can also assign custom domains to any forums, so owner of that forum could use his own domain name.
* If more than one domain is available, forum owners can choose which domain to use during registration and can change it any time later from control panel.
* You can search, edit, delete, suspend any forum hosted on your server. Search function lets you search hosted forum by multiple parameters.
* You can easily insert advertizing to forums from MultiForums control panel. Ads can be placed in header, footer, near copyright in footer and custom ad locations can be added easily. Ads can be adsense compliant (being shown only on content pages), or being shown on all pages. You can enable/disable ads for every forum, or set custom ads for forum or all forum that use certain domain.
* Attachments are disabled by default, but you can enable it for any forum without affecting other forums.
* Registration form is easily customizable, includes visual confirmation, forum names are filtered with ability to instantly ban visitor on attempt to use censored word, you can ban IPs and email providers (all disposable email providers are already added to that list and you can change it), there are several settings to block spam and flood attempts. You can set registrations to check user's email address by sending him validation email, also you can set all registrations to be validated by you. Inactive registrations are automatically deleted after certain time (customizable). You can also create forums and test registration form from control panel.
* You can run sql queries on single forums, whole databases, several selected forums, backup forums.
* Mass email. You can send emails to admins of all hosted forums, or selected forums from search results.
* Word filter for hosted forums. You can disallow certain words to be posted on all hosted forums with ability to ban user on attempt to post text that contains certain filtered word.
* You can change configuration for all hosted forums from MultiForums control panel.
* You can manage acp/ucp/mcp phpBB modules for all hosted forums from MultiForums control panel.
* Hosted forum do not have access to settings that might cause problems, such as SMTP settings, acp/ucp/mcp modules, database backup/restore, templates editor and many other settings.
* Administrators of hosted forums can upload custom logos, edit imageset and css for styles. Styles do not require any modifications in order to work with MultiForums.
* You can login as administrator on any hosted forum at any time.
* You can set permissions for forum styles, so only selected forums could use a certain style, which can be used to upload custom styles for hosted forums without other hosted forums having access to it.
* Easy website content administration (small CMS with powerful template system). Website is SEO friendly, includes directory of hosted forums and news you can add/remove in MultiForums control panel. Website is easy to translate to your language because all text constants are in one language file and website template files.
* Additional anti-spam and flood control features.
* ...and many more features. You can add more features yourself by writing a module for control panel, or downloading a module shared by some other coder.

No, its not free. I have paid $80 for this script and since then I have modified it heavily, the site comes with a unique design and i have implemented many many features. Please do not lie, why don't you check Google and post a link to where it can be downloaded free...

 

i know this is a free script visit freephpbb3.org it has the same script all you did was put a free templete again
