I would say that this keyword is highly contested and i think you are going to have to put a lot of work in. I'm not saying that it's imposible but i've ust done a few minutes reasearch into this keyword for you and you have 14,000 odd competiotors and the person who holds the number one spot has over 24,000 inbound links. So i hope that this helps give you an idea of what you are up against. Oh and who ever does there seo posts on this site just thought you should know.

Thats what i am aiming for the top ten not number one ranking. I would never get that as a one man band who does it part time.
Well if i was to get number one it would probably last one day or so.

    Top ten would be amazing,

Google.com search results only show 580,000 or so results for seo tutorials, which really isn't that competitive.

The allinachor search operator only shows 72,000 results for "seo tutorials".

According to Google Trends the term "seo tutorials" doesn't even have enough search volume to show data.

This would be hard at all in my professional opinion.

Well I've a page there and as far as I know it only has half a dozen internals with the relevant anchor text, on the other hand the page has been around for years and the site appears to be "trusted"....
