Hi, This is my first time here. I have a content-based website where I advertise Affiliate programs. Can someone please review the ad copy for the programs I'm advertising. the url is http://kazmania.110mb.com
There is nothing compelling that would inspire me to stay there. I'm not trying to be harsh. It's just not grabbing me and I can't figure out what it is I will gain from the website. So it needs to be about something and I can't see what that might be. Again, I'm not trying to be mean, just honest.
Ok I do have to agree with webgal on this one. But I would like to give you a little advice as well. First off get a header or something to put up in that blank part of your page up there. This "should show" what your site is about. Second, learn how to write in paragraphs. They consist of 1 - 4 sentences usually. You want to keep your writing chunked. It is easier to read this way and people are fairly desensitized to skipping over anything that looks hard to read. You will probably loose 95% of your visitors from this one mistake. I bet most never even read the first line. Third, "welcome to my world / my name is". Not to seem rude but who cares? When the visitor comes to your site they want to learn something useful, be entertained, etc.... Sorry but if this is supposed to be any sales copy / helpful information the last thing you should be talking about is you. The only exception to this is if you are selling a service that you offer. If it is something you are supplying someone (mentoring / article writing / copy writing / etc...) then most likely the visitor will want to know about "your work". The only time you should ever talk about yourself is when you are selling yourself. Lastly you should ditch the cluster of ads and just have a couple. Also make some changes to your heading "Information for your Net Future". It really does not make much sense and it should be in <h1> tags for SEO purposes. Hope this helps you out. Not trying to be to harsh just want to give you a general direction to work towards. Good Luck, Terry Brazil
Hey, kaymeis. First of all, well done on giving your idea a go. Ok, my opinion: - I didn't find the web address easy to remember. I'll probably remember 'kazmania', but not in addition to '110mb'. - Consider getting your own domain (or at least one without compulsory ads). - Consider removing the 'Histats' in the upper left hand corner. - I think someone's already mentioned revising your tag line and the general layout of your copy (as well as removing 'Welcome to my world'). I quite like the introduction on the initial page, though. It's personal and friendly. - Revise your use of colours. - Visit other websites to get an idea of how you could redesign your site. Hope this helps. Good luck. .
You have a website about web design and graphic design but your site looks like it was made in the 90's. I had to say it, I am not bashing you but USE A TEMPLATE if you have to and read over a few small copy writing articles and you site will look and read 500% better. Their are TONS of free CSS templates and copywriting articles out there that can help you a whole lot ALL FOR FREE
Kaymeis There is some great advice from most people here and most of what needs to be said has been said. I can only add one thing, take the advice and do something with it, all to often people take offence at what has been said and then don't do anything constructive with it. I see all too often people get the help and advice they seek or have asked for but they do nothing with it, go try a couple things suggested and ask for another review or update your post here. James
