What Do You Expect From Free Hosts?

So I will be opening a free web hosting service soon, still getting everything set up, servers, domains, etc.

However, before I officially launch, I would really like to know what some people expect out of a free hosting server? What will please you and what do the clients and consumers need?

Any range of specs such as disk space/bandwidth should we provide in order to satisfy your needs as a free web hosting service?

Any input and suggestions are greatly appreciated in the development of this upcoming service, as we will thrive to be one of the best.

PHP is a really good thing as is one mysql database, also include things like wordpress installs already on the server, i hate having to upload things like that. Apart from that good uptime and no illegal/porn/proxy sites.

Yes, PHP, mySQL, cPanel,WHM, cgi, fantastico deluxe, all that is included.

But what about disk space, bandwidth, and other account features?

Seriously, don't start a free webhosting business unless you have a fair bit of financial backend.

In my opinion you shouldn't expect any more than 50-100MB disk space and 1GB BW from a free host.

Be very careful with free web hosting, that opens your doors to spammers, insecure scripts, and other invulnerabilities.

I would not allow proxy or warez linking with a free host.

Note taken and yes I do have a good financial back up, I just need some suggestions of what people will want and what I will need to offer to attract them to host with me

and you'll see quite a few signups for this type of hosting too.

Make sure you watch activity tightly on the particular servers as well.

Would I need to do any self promoting and advertising of my services?

If so, where should I go to advertise that's effective? (free or paid)
