quick question,

when creating keywords from adwords keyword tool, it was advised to create your adgroups like this:

cat food
cat food top choices
cat food blah blah

the main idea is to have all the keywords that start with "cat food" in the same adgroup.

Does "cat food" have to be in the front?

or would

food cats like - would that be the same?

From my understanding - no, as long as that seed keyword is in the phrase.

Kind of depends... in some cases I get around $2.25 eCPC on them for an average high,,, in other cases I get about $1.35 eCPC on the low end.

I'm a real stickler for getting rid of those garbage keywords that don't convert.

Yeah, in the last couple hours of the night I made a little under $900 after getting my numbers beat up throughout the day

I'd like to track my keyword conversions, buy my AM still hasn't stuck on my pixel tracker yet;( Maybe I'll just pass it through my subid for now.

Do you ever get rid of keywords that get 0 impressions, but maybe someday in the future may get a hit or 2? Will keeping 10ks of keywords that get 0 impression harm my account in anyway?

yah, you can track your conversions through adwords. just have to talk to your AM.

Millions of people goes to the ringtone's sites every month, why they finally don't go directly to it, why ringtones still convert? It is just 260 m. of people in usa

 

Kind of depends... if it's a long tail I'd probably keep it for awhile, but if it's not gaining any impressions, I don't think it's really hurting ur campaign any.

Although I've heard some say to dump keywords that don't have any impressions/clicks after 3 months...

When you guys turn on campaign scheduling, do you find it takes a while for it to "kick in", mine's been running for about 2 hours now but I haven't seen that many impressions. Maybe I need to schedule it an hour earlier than my preferred start time in order for it to be fully rolling by the time it reaches my that time?

 

yeah don't worry adwords just takes awhile to show stats after a certain time, i start noticing things after about an hour and a half after ads turn on.

I've heard a few successful internet marketers who I trust say that if you've found a way to make money online, and you create a product revealing how you'll make lots more money selling your method for making money than you will be using the method. Aj or anyone that has a large account, how'd you increase your limit for adgroups? I'm trying to put in a few thousand adgroups totalling about 40k keywords. wouldn't allow me.

called google and they said they can increase my limit, told me to make a new account.
