I want non-contextual google ads - is it possible?

Advertisers of luxury goods want a good demographic - ABC1s, people with expendable income. Ideally (I imagine) they want their ads on pages with long dwell times. I've a site that provides these conditions but the google ads are contextual and therefore don't pay much. How do I get adsense luxury goods ads? Is it possible?

you are missing the whole concept. adsense IS contextual advertising. if you want non-contextual, then you need some other program. maybe some affiliate program will work better for you. try CJ or linkshare, you might find something you like

 

Use Adbrite or source the ads yourself. That would be the only good way.

 

Not possible in Adsense. You may try Bidvertiser where you can have the chance to decide which ad to be displayed.

Basically you can create a small content section on your webpage pertaining to "luxury goods" and tell Google adsense to give that section maximum weight when displaying ads.

 

I think its not possible with Adsense.

1associate, don't use section targeting to try to get ads that are not relevant to your pages, it won't work. You should try Google's referrals and find products yourself.
