Hey guys, Question: To verify an account, its justly simple a credit card to it, right ?? After I add this credit card and get the acc verified, can i remove the credit card ?? Will it remain verified ?? 2 Question: With a verified account, do you still pay fee to send money ?? Thanks a lot
I'm not a paypal guru...but, Once you add a credit card I believe you can't remove it because it it connected to the account. I think the only way would be to add a different credit card so that you would have two and can then remove one. As to the second question, I have never knew that there was a fee to send money. However, I don't think I ever sent -- only received.
You can't remove the CC data, it stick with ur account. Fee is just for received money if your are on premiere/business account.
you cannot remove the CC from your account unless you have more then 1 cc added to your account like i have... then you will have the option to make the CC primary or remove one... but if your credit card get expired, then you dont have to add a new one to get verified as even after you CC get expired, your paypal stay VERIFIED.... beside i dont see a reason why you have to remove your CC from your paypal... if you are not planning to bitch at paypal then you have nothing to worry about... because no one can get your CC number or any data of your cc... even you cant see the full CC number inside your account... this is to protect your CC number and info from getting stolen.... so even if your paypal get hacked or stolen, they cant do anything to your CC... and also your CC have one option called Chargeback.... so even if someday your CC get stolen or used without your knowing, you can use that Chargeback features to bring back all your money... so you will never lose anything no matter what....

But about the fee to send money, i used to have 2 paypal accounts, i just deleted one of them to avoid any problem, cause i read in here that this is against their rules, anyways I received U$1,50 in one of the acc i had, and send this amon to the other one, but i only got there U$1,20, i think. So, was that fee charged over the sending or in the receiving ?? Also the acc is not premiere/business. Both didnt had CC on it.
A non-verified paypal account basically is useless. To get the paypal account verify, just connect your bank account to paypal.
Adding a credit card doesn't verify your account. You must add a bank account in order to become verified. You can remove your credit card after you add it. Just go to profile and go to add or edit credit card. There you can remove your credit card. Also if you try to remove your bank account after being verified you will become unverified I believe.
All depends on which country you are from. In the US, you need to add a bank account to get your account verified. I believe in Germany it is probably the same. For most of the world, a credit card is needed to verify your account. Actually if your country is one which only allows for credit card verification. After adding it, you need to wait a few days and go to your credit card statement to obtain a 4 digit number on the paypal transaction. The 4 digit is your expander use program code. You will need to type this into paypal to complete the verification process. They will charge about US$1.95 for that but will deposit that money into your paypal account after your first transaction. Is there a reason why you need to remove the credit card numbers after adding it ? It is like with a credit card on file, you will be able to make payments. It is actually pretty safe.
verfication process are different from country to country.... a US paypal need a bank account to get verified but for indian paypal, it need a CC.. however it do have a option to add bank account but the verification can only be done by CC... also paypal accounts are different from country to country...
U can verify ur account with CC and then u can remove it,ur account will still remain verified. Sender never pay fees to send money.

Whether verified or not, you don't pay fee to send money. Receiver pays the fee to accept the money ( premier & business account holders ).

Is there a possible way for my premier account to return as a personal account in Paypal? Just curious because I am receiving money and actually not for business purposes, and the kept on putting fees even if it is a PayPal to PayPal transactions.
