I've been looking for a while and came to a few that pop out: 1. Hostmonster / Bluehost - they are the same I guess 2. Hostgator 3. 1&1 Which one would you choose? Why?
Number 1 and 2 on your list are great hosts. The question I have for you is what are your requirements?
I have a site on just this topic and have those guys listed there. I think your first response is right on. It really depends on what you want. For example Bluehost will limit the number of connections for databases (total! so even though they offer unlimited domains they only suggest 4-5 if they all have databases). Hit my site, it might be worth while to you, if not, no harm done right?
I just read http://www.castironhostingreview.com/hostmonsterreview.html - looks really good. What I'm looking for... That the host is reliable - for a long time.
I'd probably go with Hostgator since a lot of my friends prefer them and are happy with their service. I also hear positive feedback about them.
You can go directly to their site, 110MB[dot]com, though I don't treat them as the greatest free host.
Hostgator is good. I was having an account with hostgator 1 year before. Now, I moved my accounts to sambahosting.com and I couldn't be happier. Samabahosting's technical support is not less than excellent. Their prices are great as well. The only problem I faced with sambahosting is their sales department, which take time to respond.
Does anyone use Lunarpages? I found this plan and it's very similar to the one at Hostmonster. The price is good. What do you think?
