It really works great!!
Only thing you need is keep the content original..
Rest is done by Google and others.

I use Wordpress WASSUP.

 

I am trying the same thing too. It's been 20 days so far, and i think 2 months maximum are enough to determine the correct keywords!

Then you should post in forums that are in your own language, you need to compete in your own league.

Also, about the OP method, I'm doing just that with weaker words, so I can improve ranking for other keywords as well.

 

This is some good advice and something I suggest everyone to use. Also don't forget to use Google Trends as well.

This could be a very bad idea. Rather than target the keywords your visitors are searching for, target the keywords you want to rank well for that people tend to search for (chances are those keywords are more often searched than the ones you're being searched for anyway). In other words, this is good if you're looking for high rankings on a long-tail keyword search, but it'll fall flat on its face repeatedly if you're trying to rank well for a competitive keyword.

Forum signatures are practically worthless from an SEO point of view. If anything the fact that the keywords are appearing in the links at all (regardless of the source) will be what's causing the ranking to increase. Spammers do this all the time on blogs and most blog owners don't even realize it.

See above. There are far better and more economical ways to promote your sites than doing this. Besides, forums are best contributed to, not spammed, anyway.

He is trying to say that it is also helpful if you use your targeted keywords as your signature. Getting backlinks from related sites or forum sites will help your site to gain more traffic. Sometimes using your keywords as a name in forums also help you in optimizing your site.

I'm trying that at the moment with the keywords in my sig - not sure it's working tho because DP get's higher value for the keywords than I do!
