My camera lets me take 3 photos in a row and combines them into a panoramic. I like that idea. Here is a my first use of it, inside a Cracker Barrel. [IMG]

and my 2nd from inside Jobing.com Arena

I use a small GE point and shoot. It takes 3 photos in a row and matches them up. Pretty neat feature I'd say.

Cracker Barrel is a restraunt that serves southern home cooking. Things like ham, fried steak, okre, mashed potatos, dumplings.

I like where you are going with this. I do see a problem though. There will be a lot of people moving in the hooters photos, girls bringing food, people at tables moving. it could make it blurry, but I'll go give it a try, certainly.

What kind of camera and does it merge them together on the camera so when you upload it to your comp its just one photo file?

The clarity and resolutions of the photographs are excellent. Do you mean taking three photos and merging them all to make it panoramic?

What is the brand of the camera and the cost? (Planning to buy one )

A lot of compact cameras have this feature. I have an Olympus (2 or 3 megapixel, don't remember, already a few years old) and it can do this too..

GE. The camera merges them by itself

    GE, $150. Radioshack has it

    because the food is delicious?

I wouldn't want to ruin the photo. plus it's hard to take and be in the pic.

Not if the camera has a timer on the shutter. Mine does. ;)

wouldn't hooters have a lot brighter lighting than the CB? I don't know, I'm not a regular like you :p

but brighter = faster shutter speeds and hence less blur...plus, couldn't you use a flash?

nice work with the pics btw ;)

Great pics Cylon. I've got a cheap little Nikon L10 that does the same kinda thing. I remember jumping through hoops years ago with overly complicated stitching software, but these days it's just point, click, and watch the magic happen :)

I've usually got my L10 in my bag, but have never really thought about taking indoor panoramas - I'll have to give it a try.
