Movie Trailers site making $350 per month

I have for sale this movie trailers website. http://www.trailersmax.com It gets around 2300+ daily uniques. Time required to mantain the site is 1 hour or less daily. It's not necesary to update the site everyday, but it's good to always be adding the newest movies.

The site script is custom made by me, and new movies are easy to add. There is also a bulk update feature in the script although I prefer not to use that one and only add the best movies of the moment.

The revenue comes mostly from thenewsroom. Previously I had placed adbrite full page ads on the site and it was making around $3 per day. I placed thenewsroom video ads around a week ago and the site is now making around $12 per day. So $350 is what the site should be making per month

Unfortunately thenewsroom stats are not very detailed, it only shows total revenue, not revenue by day. So what I did is to make a screenshot of the total revenue of 2 consecutive days so you can see how much the site made in 1 day. The site revenue is the one marked with red on the pictures.

Yes, it use a mysql database. Also, the videos are from youtube as you can see.

That's a bug in the script. I just fixed it.

I'm sorry but I can't show traffic source, it will be detrimental for the new owner of the site as he/she will be getting more competition. I can say that the traffic comes from movie sites and some torrent sites.

There's no specific ending time for the auction, I'll give it a few more days to see what offers I get.

 

How do you get the news room script to autoplay?

 

They never removed the autoplay from my websites. I guess they like the traffic. If you are a new publisher you have to ask them that you want autoplay on your website. They approve it manually now to avoid people to cheat on their system.

Yes, the site is constantly making around $12. Yesterday it made $14. The day before it made $13. And the day before that it made $11

I'm going to receive offers until tomorrow. I received an offer for $550 and another for $750 through pm. Although I send a pm to the guy of the $750 offer and he has not answered so I'm not sure if he stills wants it.

Around 50% of the traffic is from US. I had another website with around that proportion of traffic and they have never complained.

are the trailers hosted on your server? if so, how much bandwidth is the site using?

 

The videos are hosted by youtube. The script gets the videos using youtube api. The site doesn't uses much bandwidth per month, less than 1gb.
