I guess even the big guys make small mistakes.

Google Adwords just sent me an automatic email reminder, and the title has a typo.

    stope (stp)
    n.
An excavation in the form of steps made by the mining of ore from steeply inclined or vertical veins.
    tr.v. stoped, stop·ing, stopes
To remove (ore) from or mine by means of a stope.

They also screwed this part up

Shouldn't is be "We will reactivate your account after you update your billing information."

Well at least you know that the other side is a human being not a computer emailing to you. Most of the time I always suspect those emails from Yahoo, Google and the other big guys are just smart computers.

Trust me it happens. I know someone who was supposed to send an e-mail with 3 times he was available...he sent the email three times saying one time he was available. X_x

Guess what! Google didn't send that to you. Some scammer did. I got the same email and I don't have a Google Adwords account. Don't update billing information or account details through a link in an email message; log on the company's web site yourself and you'll find there's nothing wrong with your account.

Google is supposed to be infallible. Watch your back... they'll be sending their goons to get you now.

Damn, you are right. It was a spammer.

I did not suspect it, since I have an inactive Adwords account AND the credit card I had registered there just expired. Now that I mouseover the http://adwords.google.com/select/login link in the email, I see that it is a html spam link.

it is a good thing that spammers can not spell, makes it easier to single them out ...

Obviously this is right. A scammer is trying to get your info. Don't share your information by e-mail and even clicking the links in your e-mail.

If you're thinking that you have troubles with google or any other big company go directly to their websites by writing their URL's YOURSELF in the browser. Don't click the link's from e-mailes saying to you that you have something wrong in your account and you will have to click "there" to update your data.

Unless you want to be scammed.

All the times scammers send e-mailes like "please update your bank info here because we are updating our server" or some any other really stupid reason.

    Please be carefull with this.

    Reinaldo.

P.D.: Sorry for my english. I know it isn't very good.

That sounds like a phishing attempt.. both those errors are very common of non-native speakers. Do not click any links in it and if you have to update your information go to their site directly not through any links.

Seems like a fake response or mail from google, at least they will write it correctly.

Yeap you reminds me I did receive such a phishing spam before, can the OP check the link that you are being asked to click? Most likely it is a phishing link.

I have gotten a lot of them lately, actually. The links all seem to point towards Google's real sites, but I haven't actually clicked them and don't plan on it.
