a lot of people experiencing loads of traffic but few clicks even if the ads on a good placement and even the blending is great, I think that people know it's ads and they don't want to click it, I don't want to mention people using adsense-blocker on Frefox, those are the worst. I think it's time to change ads or to remove that ads by Google, or even to make it smaller. what about you people do you experience the same ??
I think google should remove the "Ads by google" label from the ads. I think that will make some difference ?
We are optimizing, getting traffic, blending, writing and coming with unique content that we help using it to build the internet, thats good, but what really hurt is when you try to make some moneey "and you worth it" then you find 1000 visitors / 3 clicks / 3 cents that aint going to pay even for the hosting....
The problem is that adsense it's not good for all kind of sites. You need to focus on niches that are really good for adsense. General blogs, make money, etc., are better with other kind of ads.
When coming across the Google ads for such a long time, people start to get used to it, and become blindness in Adsense. To deal with, you may need to change the color scheme of the ads in your site.
there has been decrease in no of clicks of late and due to this Google's share price is down(As their revenues are down)
google will never remove 'ads by google' and adwords advertisers who pay for the clicks will never agree to it. i understand we are concerned about getting more clicks, but it is the advertisers at the end who pay for the clicks and they need to make sure people know where they are clicking on. already lot of advertisers have opted out of content network (blame it on all the MFA sites and people committing click frauds) for which we are seeing low payouts over time. i dont believe google share price is responsible for lower payout/clicks. google shares certain % of revenue it gets from the adwords advertisers. at the beginning, lot of (i think most) advertisers would opt in to content network and we would see high paying ads being served on our sites. then there came MFA sites and lot of publishers started joining from all across the world with master plan on cteating google (at the end the advertisers) by committing clicks frauds. these MFA sites and click fraud activites drove the advertising costs for adwords advertisers very high and they could not afford to advertise on content network anymore. and regarding low clicks, more and more people are aware of google ads and they know how to just ignore them. again, MFA sites are partly responsible for that.
As sultanofseo mentioned MFA is the biggest ERROR in AdSense world, when people click ads and find just another page with the same Ads they will never click again, back then when AdSense wasn't this famous people used to think it's a search result of a Google search query and they was clicking massively, I don't think there is a solution, I mean we are not going to be an Adsense premium publishers for this little amount of clicks "And thats the only solutions to get clicks".
Yea, people can compile that part of code but they leave it open so if you cheat they ban you, people using tricks like this wont last long on AdSense.
I dont think that they should remove the Ads by google label, they need some way to distinguish theirs from the other companies, i feel its our responsibility to blend, color, whatever.
They should not remove it Ads by google thing ...... however give us independence where to place in banner .... of what size ... what style , what Colour (not just black and white)
Maybe being able to match the label text to common used fonts on your website could help maybe they may do that in the future.
