I think it has always been that way, no?

I think it may be more saying you just can't blend it too much where you make it look like a link in your navigation etc.

I always like to insert the ad into the beginning of each post, but then I may need to stop that.

heh...google just doesn't want you to earn money lol

but i've been specifying ads on my sites, easily recognizable but there are others that blend it in like it's content which is bad imo

finally google has given us specific examples of illegal mfa crap that has been around since day one.

for the scammers on this forum:

"Also, advertisers can tell which sites have a high conversion rate for them using Placement Performance reports. A conversion occurs when a click on an ad leads directly to user behavior that the advertiser deems valuable, such as a purchase, sign-up, page view, or lead. Advertisers have the option to exclude your site from their campaigns and may do so if it is not leading to conversions."

I think they still encourage blending of your ads and are not advising you not to, they are most likey referring to the obviously sneaky blending where the website owners attempt to trick the visitor completely.

Ive visited sites before where ive literally stopped what im doing for a moment because i can see some blending with the navigation or other content and they have done it so much that i can barely see the difference.

Blending seems fine, being a trickster is not. :)

Googles annoying, soon they want a giant arrow on your site pointing to the ad saying this is a google advertisement.
If a persons interested in a advertisement then they shouldnt care weather its part of the site or not, theres a thing called a back button and right click open in new window/tab -.-

LOL.. to true... they created adlinks so that you can just blend them in with your site's navigation and then say don't do it...

Basically they want us as publishers to get them clicks as best as possible while appeasing the advertisers by these rediculous guidelines... They want their cake and eat it too.

They LOVE MFA sites and will make as much money they can until the complaints come in.. that's when they ban these guys.. only after they've made their money.

thats just great. adsense keeps paying lower and lower, where google expectation is getting higher and higher.
