Our datacenter is in Dallas. Our servers are owned by the same provider with a CentOS 5 Operating System.

The intake server HD is listed below, 1 No. 40Gb 7200rpm HD.



Our secondary server is 78% full, at 75% we purchased a second server, we will do the same when the current intake server becomes 3/4 full. We do not put more than one hardrive in a server and the number of accounts we place on a harddrive is limited, should we need to move an account due to its increasing size we will simply transfer that account to a new server, should that account outgrow the diskspace allotted we will purchase another server. It is as cheaper for us to purchase a whole server with this config than to add another hardrive and risk losing a customer due to impaired performance.

This was the decision of our sponsors in absorbing any additional short term costs with a view to creating a successful long term enterprise.

Disk space and server loads are of prime concern to us and we monitor those constantly.

Let me know what you think. There is an option to move onto the secondary server if you are not happy with the speed of the intake server. This could increase the speed you experience once your account is setup.

Just to let you know how our server allocations work...

We have an intake server where we monitor new accounts for a period of time, we then move those accounts to our newest server which we refer to as the 'vault'.

We do this quarentine procedure to protect existing clients. We are sure you will agree that this is a sensible course of action not always implemented by hosts.

No we don't allow proxy/adult sites. We always attempt to keep the ACE4SPACE community legal. We want everyone to be happy with their products and we feel that sites and services bringing the community into ill repute would damage everyones reputation including our own. Therefore please only host with us if you want to be civil.
