Finally I did it: $200 a month. This is the first month that brought me $200, I'm so happy. I hope to sustain this achievement and build it further up. It's difficult but sometimes you just need another new website to let you achieve a higher amount per month (which is the case here). I'm so happy and hope this inspires others to achieve the same (although it's not a super huge amount, it's something )
All from scratch and self made. Never bought a site. Most of my sites are about travel and earn between 0.4 and $1 a click, but even I get clicks lower than 10 cent sometimes. I'm doing adsense for about 1.5/2 years. My first $100 (to get a payment) took me about 5 months, but since a half year I achieve more then $100 a month and a payment every month and only since this month I got more then $200 a month
Great Work!! I cant wait until I get to this stage. I have only made about $6 since the start of the year. Could you post a screenshot, I love it when people post them because it always gives me inspiration. Actually I should print them out and stick them all over my wall!! Anyway, thanks for sharing.
Good ! I'm also in the same niche and i haven't reached even $100 a month. I took me 3 months to reach $50 and get some traffic for a new website. I haven't see such clicks as 1 $, i get usually .2 or .1 ! I'm trying to improve this and my traffic.
How much time did it take? What was the main soource of yu traffic: updating content or smart linking building? Thanx for a reply...

Dear GameOver, I could post a screenshot, but I don't know which items exactly I need to delete to not handle against the google TOS, so I'd rather don't post a screenshot. I don't want to brag with this post, just inspire others and I'm happy I inspired you! Keep up and you could do the same as me, I also started small (and am still growing )
As I posted it took me almost 2 years to accomplish this goal. The main source of traffic was updating content and link building too. But the phrase content is king , is really true. I have different websites with each at least 50 pages of (quality) content. No problem for replying, I'm glad I can help out others!
I think clicks worth as low as 0.1 are not good for a travel site and you should really focus on the higher paying part of travel websites. I have on tip for your then...make some information pages about travel and finance subjects, such as travel insurance and such
