apparently, I asked a question in a thread

yes it was tongue -n- cheek

but truly a legitimate question

at anyrate

this person has rallied all his friends and given me 8 infractions...

is there nothing i can do about this?

he can only give you red reps BUT you can report him to get infractions for hijacking threads though

I am seeing many trends of hosting providers bashing each ohter with the disguise of their "preventing from scammer" motto and blindly atacking any other host in threads

 

ouch....i am a host...and to be honest...it is a touchy issue in our industry

i specifically went after his because it was so ridiculous.

but i digress

i don't want to be a part of that trend...i will just be quiet and let people figure it out for themselves (hopefully before they lose too much money)

Indeed.... specially three people (hosting providers) are doing it and its such a shame.

 

Just let them be.... they are small companies honestly and are afraid of competition. I usually hang around there (at least some times) so I know them pretty well... and they know me too.
