i think its a nice clean design, easy to look at and appears to be fast.
would be easier if one could actually play a game without joining.

membership required? thats a turn off.

Yes, it would be nice to play game without joining, but our online game systme would make list of top player (all games), top score for specific game (any one those game) and i would show the profile on top.

Now, all this would not be possible with out login so that is the reason would need to register.
