You know what, Every 7 days, our company's paypal account gets limited just for doing transactions above $3000 USD.Then again, we have to send documents now and then to restore it.
Totally fed up with paypal but seriously no other alternatives too because PAYPAL is widely accepted all over the world.

Paypal makes the vast majority of their money on smaller transactions so don't expect that to change.

The risk involved with larger transations is far greater and therefore they most likely see the lost business by limiting is worth it over the long run.

If I was regularly taking transactions over $3K at a whack I would talk to my bank about getting a credit card machine.

I agree but unfortunately due to the number of scammers their hand is forced.

If they didn't limit, they would be out of business

Well, people generally do not use Paypal for big dollar transaction and I assume that paypal knows that. They just want to be sure that their system is not being used to engage in money laundering which is a very serious issue. Also with big amount, the higher the risk of exposure for them especially if the seller withdrawn the money and the customer does a chargeback or something, in situation like that paypal would most likely have to pay the customer out of their own pocket.

Try using a real credit card processor. Paypal isn't for high ticket transactions.

Money laundering is a big issue with paypal and they just want to protect against that. As long as you have documentary proof and all the necessary proof of delivery, you have nothing to fear.

    Hello,

I run an online business and use Paypal to accept payments because a lot of people do use Paypal. I'm a verified seller with business account. Will I face the same problem too?

    $2000 - is that a single transaction?

I believe the OP was referring to single transaction above $2000. There is nothing wrong with selling to different people, it is just that if you sell items priced above $2000 each then you will really need documentary proof like invoice, proof of delivery and all that. Basically, if you do proper business with proper documents then you should not face any real problem.

I am tired of paypal too, because it gets my account limited because of high transactions, the same problem as with all and then i ahve to send my complet documents each time.
Just fed of sending them my documents and then it takes 10-15 days for their review, and when i call them that why don't they review my documents, they just reply,
SIR: your documents are in French so we have sent them for translation, just stupid answer from them, Now my account is limited from 18th of March, and i have sent them documents the next day, but yesterday they askd for more documents,
I will just say Good Bye to paypal, but i wish i could....

the only reason paypal limit the account for bigger transaction is to protect you and your buyers from any frauds... just call paypal and ask them to stop limiting your account.... and they will ask you to upgrage your account to business... also try not to access your paypal account from different ISP or make sure your Web IP dont change... this is a big reason paypal give me and limited my account twice last year just because i check my paypal from a different computer... and as soon as i logout, i found my account limited. and when i contant paypal they said someone else was in my account but i know it was me.... so make sure you dont login from different PC or ISP....

oh and one more thing... this time call there customer care phone number if you dont want them to limit you in future... explain everything and i think they will put some mark on your account which will not limit you in future.... but i am not sure about this also.. i only figure because since i made a call to them, i have not get limited from the last 3 months... and i can check from different PC or ISP also.... and try to fax your CC statement and your bank photo passbook.... and i am sure they will stop limiting your account after you follow these 3 ways that i told you..... and i am sure it will work with you also and you will stop limited account problem no matter how big the transaction amount it...

The only way you can stop chargeback is to remove credit cards from the equation. Until you can get the banks to stop protecting their customers, chargebacks would always be there.
