I have seen people here paying just to post in their forums.... do get any income from that? how can we make money from web forums ? suggestions plz.
People are often prepared to pay just to get some new content on their forum. They also reckon that if their forum looks active it'll get more registrations in return. Speculating to accumulate.
you can charge your members if you like but I don't see that on many forums. advertising is the main source of income for most forum owners traffic+members = cash
Probably. Most people who start a new forum have some sort of budget available for buying links and paid posters.
If you are talking about things like mylot.com or yuwie then I don't know how much you would be able to make from sites like this. I doubt it would be much, they probably implement a referral system also I would assume from the sounds of it.
Forum owners pay people to post to get more content to their sites, when enough people are already posting on their own, they usually stop the incentives.
Kick start your new forum by paying incentives and once you think that it can stand on its own, then stop paying the forum posters. Naturally people will come and join if they find it is worthy ad when you get a lot of visitors, you can earn through ads.
