Hi there, Please find my entry below. If you would like to see a change in the colours used, or any styles added, please let me know. Many thanks, VictoriaAnn
anidesign Hmm I think the different take on the question mark may be taking a step backwards . I like the change to blue and the smaller version though. You're the designer... I'd like to see some variation of it because I don't think it's quite at a "usable" stage for the site right now... collegerut The extra things to the text are nice, but there is too much going on with "it"... also the arrow doesn't exactly really point anywhere... The "talk bubble" also really doens't look like one, especially against the dark background. Keep in mind this is not a "community" or "chat" site, and is instead a survey creation + deployment system, and a "talk bubble" may not be the best symbol... VictoriaAnn Thanks for the entry but it doesn't really do it for me. The "a" looks like a backwards D, and the question mark symbol is just a bit too simple with a basic question mark in a circle... JoKeRuLLz It looks nice but the "background graphic" is overbearing... makes it very difficult to use when implemented on a smaller scale. Alone, it probably looks better... but it won't be like that most of the time. I also don't want the text spread across multiple lines. alexender82 Sorry, this just doesn't do it for me. The symbol looks amateur and takes away from the rest of it... [b/]Lemezo[/b] Not a fan of the yellow+red colors and I don't want the text spread across multiple lines. That would also mean the symbol couldn't be that tall... so some reworking will need to be done
Thank you for the feedback, it helps me better understand. Revised, entry nr. 2 Requires minimum change (black/white).
Speno Sorry, it just really doesn't work for me. It looks lime a very outdated design and the color combination is unappeasing amx If I'm correct the "O" is supposed to be both a question mark and a face, though the face looks rather comic-y and scary at the same time. I'm not really sure of the connection it has. The "person with a question mark" also gives me the impression of "unsure" which isn't exactly the best message to get across! untitledstudios There really isn't much to this logo besides a question mark placed smack-dab in the middle. It seems oddly placed and doesn't really do anything. There isn't anything special about it... collegerut The first one is an interesting take. I think its too tall though and would be very difficult to implement in little vertical space without making the text small. Can you try and rework it a bit? Make the text stand out more... also not all 1 color The second one I don't like. I'm not really sure of the connection between an RSS feed icon and AskItOnline... Am I missing something? Lemezo It's interesting but with the "It" so out of place, it sort of breaks the wording. Assuming you were trying to make the point of the q-mark to be part of the "dot com", it doesn't really work because the dot is much lower.
Yes, the dot was supposed to be used for dot.com. I was almost sure you wouldn't like it(I didn't like the arrangement myself). I've fixed the dot problem, I also have another solution in case you don't like it. Also, the "IT" is now aligned. Here it is: Please specify any other changes. I can also place the IT in the center of the question mark "hook" The logo looks good even at 1:4 of the current size.
the CH post this contest in other contest site too. so will the CH pick the winner from here or other site?
