Summary Logo must be professional and in vector format and ideally look great on both dark + light backgrounds Description AskItOnline.com is launching shortly but I want to go ahead and get a new logo and design up first. I personally like the current logo, but all it is really is just colored text. I think it would be nice to spruce it up in some way. It must be professional and in vector format. Ideally it would be nice if there would be minimal changes (if any) to make it display on both a light and dark background. There is no hard-set color scheme in mind and with plans to redesign the website design as well, it is difficult to say what the final colors will be. They may end up revolving around the logo. Hate to say it, but keep a "web 2.0" look in mind when designing Payment to winner via PayPal Tagline: Need answers? Ask It Online!
wolf2009td - I don't like the first one... there isn't much to it.. just text - Not sure what the symbols are in the second one... doesn't do much for me - The last one.. the "O" just looks like a swirl.. doesn't really indicate online or even (more important) "survey"... jusme103 Sorry but that just looks much too unprofessional... can't possibly work with that Ariestoteles I don't think the green Q mark does with the rest, and it seems to stand out a bit too much... It looks more like something apart from the text then the "O" in "online"... IM3D The concept is very nice but I think it was just a bit too abstract. I didn't know it was 3 question marks until you pointed it out. Can you try and make it a bit more glossy than "gradient-y"? webjaws The question mark is much too large... it just won't be able to fit something like that in most places. Also not a fan of the fonts used xaralee Spacing out the words is not out of the question, but that is just too spaced out. Also, the question mark in "Ask", while an interesting take, just doesn't look enough like an S anidesign Nice colors... a color scheme I've never touched before! What is the moon shape on the left though... what's that for? Please also show on a lighter background as it will actually be used on white/gray background much more. tGriff Sorry, just doesn't work for me shynobee Sorry, just doesn't work for me
The animation was just to show changes made between light and dark backgrounds. May I ask what the original logo is? Sprucing up an old logo is totally different from designing a new one..
The current logo really shouldn't be hard to find... but I am not necessarily looking for a spruce up. Not at all, actually... (though a spruce up COULD work)
Can you try blue in it? I really want to be able to incorporate blue into the site design... Also can you try making the symbol either a bit smaller or somehow less overbearing? Also, maybe make it a bit different than just a solid white Q-mark...
