    Hello,
i`m trying to SEO my site now and i have a few questions about backlinking...

    - lets say I have 100+ landing pages for 1 campaign... and I need that ALL my landing pages will get good PR so do i need to give only the homepage as the backlink or all 100+ landing pages?? (which will be quite a hustle if i`ll need to do each manually, although i do have a list of all my landing pages in a list..)

    - will google penelise me if i`ll BUY like 10k PR0 backlinks and um... lets say like 50 PR6 backlinks?? (from sites like "TNX" or "text links brooker").

    - what is the defenition of a regular backlink and natural backlink? (if anyone can then please send me a link with an example for each)

    - um.. what`s an outbound link??

    thanks for all in advance,
    tony ;)

Your site should get incoming links gradually, because if your site get too many links (or not too many, but with high PR) quickly, a red flag will be assigned to your site by search engines and could be penalized on SERP rankings.

And "outbound link" is "external link". A link from your site to another site.

30 PR6 links in a week for a new site is not a good idea. That won't look "natural" to search engines.
IMO is your site is new, you should buy links from PR0-PR3 only (not PR4+) on first month.

    Hi,

This is true and untrue both, depends on how you do it. For example; if your website is promising, promising to deliver quality products or quality content to the visitors; in this case, google will not penalize it. However, if the website is not promising and just a normal website which is updated like once or twice a week and nothing interesting, this case; google might penalize.

I still don't think your website can get penalize just because of some high PR6 links in less time, just go for it and follow the guidelines.

First, I dont believe you can or should have 100+ landing pages. In fact, it contradicts the term landing page: of having a central location for most users to see. My guess is you have several root domains pointing to one. From what I've read, it's easier to SEO for one domain, but you can target subpages. Just make them the highest level possible e.g. www.abc.com/landpage1 www.abc.com/landpage2

It's more "safe" to add backlinks gradually - I personally would not want 10k backlinks in one shot, it's going to throw a red flag up.

Adding maybe 1-10 backlinks per day is a pretty secure way to do it (and all of the backlinks others give you on their blogs/social bookmarking accounts).

the blog posting and signature is too much manual work and for what? like 100$ tops for many head braking hours?? and i doubt that anyone will see ur signature or blogpost and rush to buy ur item, and if yes it`ll only be like 1 sell/300 posts at the minimum.... not worth it...
but articles i think its good idea, maybe some 1 can gimme a link on how to write an article for article engines like squidoo and ezine articles??

btw, if im doing article writing i dun need that my site will be SEOed or good pr or something, right??

You can buy signatures from other members on forums related to your sites.
That way you don't need to spend time typing posts. The goal of forum signatures is to increase your SERP positions, not to bring too many visitors, but if the signatures are on related sites you'll get some interested visitors too.
You can visit the site on my "Location" to learn more about forum signatures.

I would usually rent a sig to someone on a monthly basis, or cheaper to them for 2, 3... months etc

The persoon renting their sig will offer it at a price or sometimes negotiate.

No. To put 100+ different URLs, you need to rent to at least 25+ different people here on DP, because max links on DP signatures is 4.
TIP: Don't start with so many different landing pages. Start with 10 or less, those with best keywords. You'll need to investigate and/or use tools to find the better keywords for your sites.

Rates on DP are aprox. $7/month per 1,000 posts.
If you're interested, you can get a link on my DP signature for $20/month.

it should not be pressure on ur websites by bulk links..say ur website is two months old & u buy 100 of links with pr6..pr7...but its notnatural , when search engine ranking alghorithm logic got the link then it wil be dubious .then it may effect negatively...but if u give bulk of links & when a visiotr goes to ur site & leaving ur site after givng more time then it may not effect.Another is company domain.say ur website is a company website where ur other websites is high ranked then it will ok....

It differs, some people sell them at a cent per post, others sell them cheaper, for example my recent ones were $30.

Depends on the number of posts and the sig sellers choice.

hm... i think i got it now...
    here`s my plan, and plz correct it i its not good;

i should start with like 3-5 sigs from different forums to get my backlinks going in, also i can start backlinking my site from sites like TNX or "text link brookers" that sell me good PR0-PR7 backlinks to my site (btw, how many and what quality i should get if my site is 3 months old??)

simontanioulsy i can start writing articles to article directories such as squidoo and ezine articles (plz answer this question - do i need a good SEOed site to start publishing to these sites and get good results? or my sites SEO level doesnt effect it??)

and one last and most imporatant question; whats the difference between PR and SERP? (plz gimme examples)

    thanks,
    tony

p.s. ajsa52, thanks for the offer but this forum doesnt fit with my campaign so it`ll be useless for me to do backlinks from here ;)
p.p.s. ajsa52, please answer my PM here or in PM, thanks xD
