Hi there, I'm really keen on a iPhone now. But freaking Australia don't have them yet. I just moved here about 10 months ago, so I don't really know what the best online apple magazine is, so in my search for information on Google I only came up with old information. So, does anyone have any updated news on the launch of iPhone in Australia? should I by one from the states or just wait it out? And if I decide on buying one from the states, what should I look out for?
I know eBay Australia have heaps of unlocked iphones for australia, You could look there. also i don't think apple has confirmed a date for Australia yet
I have unlocked one, no trobules. And if you will have a trouble, you can always restore it and then unlock again by yourself, take 10 minutes with ziphone application. And tomorrow there is goind to be release for the iPhone PWNAGE, a program that will unlock the iphone for life. And you will jailbreak your iphone anyways, it just doesn't have enough features in original package. Well anyways, it's up to you. I'm satisfied very well with my unlocked iphone.
I've heard some rumors that you can't update it trough itunes and that you can't use itunes to upload songs, videos, pictures etc. Is this true? Can you use itunes with yours?
Sorry i can I read on gizmodo that one third of all iphones are unlocked/jailbroken. Don't you think it's silly to do this is it won't work because of jailbreak/unlock? If you dont believe me i can shoot a video of me doing calls listening to music in action
I do belive that i works just fine, but I have just heard rumors that you can not update the iphone trought itunes! Have you tried that?
