How much it Costs to Ship Item Worldwide?

    I Live in India and I want to Ship a Mobile Phone to USA.
    Has anybody ever did it?..
    How Much it will cost the Maximum?

    I mean I wanna Ship at Fast as Possible ..
    Do I have to Pay any Tax aswell?

    Any Help Will be Gratefull

    It depends on how you want to ship it. Via Airmail or via Courier service like DHL, Fedex or so on. The Fastest method would be courier service like DHL or Fedex which might take a few days to get there.

    Also it all depends on how heavy the mobile phone is with packages and how big the packaging.

    Check with your local post office or one of the courier company if you are shipping through them, they will know what to do.

    As for Custom taxes, it is only the buyer who buys and not the seller.

    i ship a leather jacket to a friend to NY and it cost me Rs. 800 because it was heavy leather... however he did pay me the shipping cost also.... and he get the packet after 8 days.... so i guess it should not cost you more then Rs. 200 or Rs.300 but not sure through... beside think electornic items are now not allowed to send overseas.... but not sure as well... just make sure you ask them before you send the packet....

    I guess he is trying to say that the shipping cost can come out to be about 35% of the cost price of the mobile phone.

    Friend,

    DHL, Fedex are expensive. Try EMS (Express Mail Service). I think you don't need to pay taxes as it is only the receiver who has to pay duty taxes if applicable.

    Go to your nearest post office and inquire!
