    HostGator or go daddy
I need a host and I plan on registering with godaddy. And maybe host with Hostgator.
    I like the 600gb 6000gb transfer plan.

I have around 35k hits a month is that enough bandwidth to grow?

Im using worpdress to build and maintain the site.

I've never used GD for hosting but I'm sure they are ok but if I had to select one then I guess Hostgator would be my selection.

get domains from godaddy but never use their hosting, it's horrible... I signed up with them once.

    Go for hostgator.

dreamhost sounded ok too but they want long term commitments. I heard alot of bad things about go daddy so I thought I ask. So I shouldnt have any bandwidth problems? I embed most stuff just the forum will take up space.

Quick question of parking. Should I buy the .info for 1.99 and park or redirect it? I plan on getting the .com but thought it might be a smart thing to do.

Never use godaddy for hosting, I paid for 1 year at godaddy, and only after 1 month, I moved to hosgator :(

Hosgator is best. Godaddy don't even support some RSS feeds that I wanted to use in my site.

Im up to other suggestion but those are the ones I was looking at. The only reason I thought about go dadddy was cuz I was going to register there.

Alot of the places I checked had very deceptive advertising. Thats always a red flag to me.

Try Netfirms.com instead of GoDaddy. It comes with free privacy and they're pretty good. And Site5 has a special going on. Like 1.5 tb space and 15tb of bandwidth for like $3/month. You could look at that.

It doesn't matter where you register you domain - you can host it anywhere. I use 7 different hosts, but for shared hosting, I doubt you'll find a better host for $10 than hostgator. If you are looking to spend less, you might try asmallorange.

register with godaddy. And host with Hostgator :)
You can find some local registrars as well, but they are usually too expensive and unreliable.

Haha this is exactly what I do. I've been using Hostgator for a few months now and they've been great, especially compared to GoDaddy. GoDaddy has good domain prices but please stay away from their hosting (lame custom control panel).

    I'd highly suggest Hostgator.
