People make a mistake of submitting too many pages per day to the search engine. This often results in the search engine simply ignoring many of the pages which have been submitted from that site. This is also a big mistake.

You shouldn't be submitting individual pages to a search engine anyway, infact you dont even need to submit anything to a search engine, get some backlinks, from web directories, forums, blogs etc and the SE's find your site anyway.

At most submit your site (homepage) to the top 3 once then leave it alone.

 

i use page cloaking on flash site for search engine view,does it hurt your ranking in SE?

I don't think meta inf is not working...its working dear...

 

if you use cloaking in your site then Search engine reduce your Search engine ranking in SERP.

 

Do not use frames and do not have site with only images or javascript without text

This post can be very helpful to the newbie as myself in reviewing what they are doing and was it done correctly. One thing I have learned is the importance of Naviagation of the site by search engines and users along with contant and good do follow links will increase the sites popularity and ranking.

I agree some choice. i think that earch search engine not use all case for their algorithm

for example

keyword in meta tag not important for google, but in msn live, yahoo still important. look at in serp for each SE too.

 

There are lots of mistakes done by SEO. Not just mentioned above....But the main mistake generally commited by them is spamming!

- Keyword density is useless and not a SEO tool, in fact it's a fossil of search engine optimization if you ask me. Keyword Density of Non-sense

3. Put too many keywords in the Meta Keywords tags

- The keyword meta element is no longer used by major search engines due to abuse in the past. This really is an obsolete SEO method and will probably be phased out entirely in the whole "SEO" field in the next 5-6 years.
