Can anyone please tell me if its good to have like 100k free(or paid) backlinks pointing to your site?? and how do those people that give free backlinks banefit from the deal?? I heard from people that it`s not wise that ur site will be getting 100k backlinks from free sourses, why`s that? And also, could anyone explain me what a backlink is and give me an exaple link for a backlink?? i mean... is a backlink is like a content network ad or something within the site???
Backlinks should be based on quality not quanitity. A quality backlink would be from a very relevant site, with unique content relevant (not duplicate) to yours. The backlink's anchor text should be the keyword or keyword phrase you are trying to rank for in search results.
but um... lets say I have 100+ landing pages for 1 campaign... and I need that ALL my landing pages will get good PR so do i need to give only the homepage as the backlink or all 100+ landing pages?? (which will be quite a hustle if i`ll need to do each manually, although i do have a list of all my landing pages in a list..) and about quality not quality... if i get 100k backlinks for free, why the hell do i need to mind about quality, i`m sure that there will be 5-10 quality backlinks at the least... although, if google might penelise me for doing so then it might not tbe worth it... how google can penelise me btw?? tony
*sigh* Why must they have good Pagerank? It's a useless value in SEO terms. 5 to 10 quality backlinks is nothing, stop trying to do everything the quick and easy way, because it never works. Time + General Effort = Results
kk then, but if i decide to use a backlink selling site tike "TNX" or "text link brooker" or something is it going to gimme some good traffic?? and whats better; like 100 pr1 backlins or 2 pr4 backlinks?? btw, i dont get it' why the hell ALL people in this forum answer only half of the questions that i ask and the other half they ignore as it doesnt even exist?! tony
Why the hell do people keep valuing inbound links based on Pagerank values under PR6 Do you know the definition of a natural backlink?
well i know that Google penalize for bad neighbor that mean if someone link to you it is ok but if you link back to bad neighbor that Google will penalize you for you control your site you cant control other site and in other way yahoo and msn still count back links the quantity how much sites links to you so for Google think for good back links and for others think for more
anyhows, still no answer then, eh?? I`ll start fresh and ask again: - lets say I have 100+ landing pages for 1 campaign... and I need that ALL my landing pages will get good PR so do i need to give only the homepage as the backlink or all 100+ landing pages?? (which will be quite a hustle if i`ll need to do each manually, although i do have a list of all my landing pages in a list..) - will google penelise me if i`ll BUY like 10k PR0 backlinks and um... lets say like 50 PR6 backlinks?? (from sites like "TNX" or "text links brooker"). - what is the defenition of a regular backlink and natural backlink? (if anyone can then please send me a link with an example for each) plzplzplzplzplz dont write about things that I dont give a ****, k? thanks, tony
A natural backlink is when someone links to your site because it's useful content and relevant to their website, not to benefit either part SEO wise, which is the best backlink you can get. If you want to waste your money sure you can buy all the text links you want, but in the long run you will realize you need quailty backlinks, not quanitity. I guess some people are determined to learn by trial and error.
.............if i said that i dunno what`s a natural backlink then how the hell can I understand what uve just written me?? are u saying that a regular backlink is the ones that me be bying and narutal backlink is the one that i see when i search in google for "golden retriever training" for instance?? btw, the other questions are as much as important is this one so plz dont ignore it, it`s really disrespectful... :/
I've answered your question 3x already, its in the context of what I'm saying. Thats one example of me saying No in a fancy way.
it not saying there... man.. is it really hard to just tell me if a natural backlink is the one that google gives me after i type in a keyword?? in anyways.... please.... someone answer my said above questions............................ please, is it really hard to just answer the damn question other then lecturing me that quantity=bad, quality=good?? i mean... every 5 year old knows this kind of shyt, i need real information and for this i need some one to answer my frickin` questions! plz some 1 answer
With this attitude no wonder no one is answering you, when you type a keyword into Google your getting SEARCH RESULTS, not backlinks. When you learn to ask you question in a nice manner and not degrade the people trying to help you you'll find your responses are much better.
uh...huh..... if u actually read me questions then we would have had this problem then wouldn`t we? eh? ur answers the same as if i would ask what`s 1+1=? and u`ll answer me "chocolate is tasty"... bah... learn to READ b4 you POST... dammit! and people are not postion becuz they see many unrelated answers and assume that the question already has been answered. dont post if ur answers are unrelated! jeez...
I'm sorry, but don't expect me to answer anymore of your threads. I give you valid useful information and this is how you reply? You can stick with the answers from the post spammers trying to just boost signature links.
what makes u think u are not one of them? eh? in anyways, ur answers are as useful as the junk mail that i get, so dont get so hyped up there "just becaouse uve written something"...
He is right, Hanuka. It's the quality and relevance of the links that matter. For example, if you have a site about automobile repair, having links (whether it's two or two million) from Hannah Montana fan sites won't help you much. Now if those links were from other car related sites (such as auto repair, maintenance, and so forth) then you'd see a major boost since those sites are related to your own site. As far as the PageRank issue goes, the links will pass PageRank on to your site regardless of where they come from as long as they haven't been blocked from doing so (such as with the rel="nofollow" attribute). However, just because a site has a PR of 3 doesn't mean it'll pass on 3PR to yours. PageRank is calculated per PAGE, not SITE, and there are always going to be other links competing for that PageRank as well, including those other pages on the site the PR is coming from. For instance, if a page has 8 links to other pages on the site (with each link being unique - and let's say these links are the menu for that site) and two links to another site and that page has a PR of 1, you could (basically) figure that each link is distributing a tenth of that one PR (0.10 PR). Granted, this is a gross over-simplification of how it works, but it should give you an idea of how it works. Another thing to consider is that the published PageRank score that shows up in the toolbars and sites such as digpagerank.com are NOT the actual PageRank values which are updated on a constant basis (usually daily or several times per day - I'm not a Google engineer so I don't know per se, but I do know that it's updated often). The values we see published are actually 3-4 months old and at best offer a snapshot of how popular our pages were 3-4 months ago (a good comparison to this is light from other stars and celestial bodies - we can see how the Crab Nebula looked 6,500 years ago when we look at it through a telescope, but we have no idea what's going on over there right this instant). To summarize the whole thing though, as long as the pages linking back to your page have not been blocked from being followed by the search engines, they'll pass on PageRank (albeit a tiny bit of what the published PageRank score for that page is). And if you have those links coming from pages that are related to your own, those links will be given more "weight" (or credit) than links that are not related (the related site links act like trusted referrals rather than background noise). Just like a good restaurant recommendation from your best friend is worth more than a good restaurant recommendation from some average joe you never met before since you obviously know your best friend and also know that this person is a very good source of information (and can also be trusted). Does that help?
