running ads on weekends. does it work? whats it take?

if i'm running ads to promote business software etc... is it even worth running ads on the weekends?

i know that you only pay when an interested party clicks your ad, whether its weekday or end doesn't matter, but would weekday clickers be more likely to buy?

what is your guy's experience? what kind of products lend themselves to weekend sales?

    thanks

We've pulled way way back on our ads in general as the performance was pretty poor initially due to competitive type click activity. With that said the weekends tended to be the most profitable as real clickers were doing the clicking and not those just spending our CPC dollars.

You won't know unless you try, set a daily limit so you don't get burned.

that entirely depends on your niche. some will do great during weekdays and some over weekends. you just need to test it for your niche

True, it totally depends on your niche. If it's something that involves more then 2 minutes to complete an order or fill out a form, then weekends and evenings are best. However, if it's a product they can buy in under 2 minutes, then they could do it while at work, so weekdays may be good too.
