... that can shock you. A story that you can see just in Saw movie series. It's about a girl who was left bleeding to death on the sidewalk, with 3 policemen near her. Those "people" didn't even turned their faces to that victim who was dying in pain. For 20 minutes. That's how late the ambulance camed in. It's unbeliveable that something like that can happen in 21th century, in a country that claims to be part of European Union. They acted worse than animals. Here is the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ6qDQUVNdw That policeman said: "I can't help her, I'm a policeman, not an ambulance". That's a human attitude? I don't think so! That woman who hit her is like "WTF? She's not dead yet! I had about 60-70 Km/h". On a crossing line!!! Damn, how human beings turned into something worse that an animal? Noone helped her in all that time! The hospital was about 500 meters from that accident area. Also, the road was "clean" because a motorcade passed by! So, why nobody did nothing?!
police aren't really allowed to help people who are hurt because they aren't certified EMT's, If the police tried to help her and she died her husband or parents of that lady could sue the police. It happens all the time thats why police can't and don't really get involved, all they can do is either help the person out of harms way until paramedics arrive. I am sure the police would love to help everyone who they ran into who was hurt but when someone turns around and sues them millions of dollars for trying to save a life when really the police made it worse, theres really nothing you can do.
I'm more angry about that attitude that everybody there had. You kill somebody and you can just say "She's not dead yet"?! The police... that sick woman who hit her... none had no affection, no sadness, no reaction, no nothing! And worse is that the women who hit her will NOT go to jail, just because she has some strong "relationships" with people that spin this shitty country. I'm just sick of it!
You just have to see that ignorance, apathy and "I don't give a f***k" attitude, when someone is bleeding to death, 2 minutes from hospital, with all that police near her, who doesn't even look at her.
The reason most people are scared to help even though they have sympathy, sorrow and pain in their hearts are because even though the victim indeed going to be in pain or near death, and if a person helps her (I dont know how they would either way other than stand or sit beside the victim)... physical contacts can later be brought to court and the kind perosn being sued for killing the victim regardless the victim is about to die on own. you cant actually acuse and blame the watchers who can do nothing...blame on the people bringing lawsuits aginast good guys helping out those in needs.
That is also another evil we have to deal with. Even when we do help, we still get hurt. However it still sad to see things like that
