Like I said I don't think it has anything to do with the niche I typically get clicks at less than a dollar. You can see the site's address in the ad. I feel bad for him/her too but I hope those were free credits you know like the ones they give you with hosting plans. That's not really my motive but thanks I know I couldn't believe it either and I was expecting Google to correct the amount before the end of the day but it didn't happen. The earnings are yet to be finalized for the month but I doubt they would let a mistake for this long. You think so? How would you know that those stats were really from me? Besides, it would take all the fun and excitement out of my story. It's like when you tell a secret...
Yes, but surely your site has ads from many advertisers. So, how can you know which was the ad clicked ? (or was clicked by you )
Such mistakes are usually made by those newbie AdWords users who work for large corporate firms. So it's not a big deal for them.
I would like to know that too If there is a way to determine what is the amount every ad pays you, I would sure like to know it
I was going to ad more details the last time I replied but I didn't think it was necessary. So here I go. Only 1 ad was showing in the ad unit. I guess that when you pay all that money it gives you the right to all the ad space On that day, I received very little traffic, and the channel on which I received "the magical click" only received 1 click for a while. This last for some time, not like I know exactly when the click occurred but I usually check all my stats every morning, visitors, clicks, earnings and that how I spotted it.
Strange how do you know which site paid for click. Google doesn't reveal original advertisers. anyway congrats for getting excellent one click. thanks
Just what are the point of these sort of threads? "I got $xx amount for a click" or "I just made $50 a day" when the people that start them don't talk about how they did it, how they marketed the site, how long it's been around or even the niche the site caters to. So what exactly are we learning? Nothing. It becomes a big circle jerk. Don't get me wrong, I am happy that someone is becoming successful, but there is zero substantial value to these kinds of threads.
