Tool for checking if site is listed in directories

    Hello,

I've submitted my site to quite a few directories. Just don't know if there is any tool available for checking if my site has being listed in the directories ?

I know it can be done by searching "mysite.com site:directorysite.com" in Google or Yahoo, but that would be too tedious.

    Thank you.

Some website tools will display your backlinks and the PR of them, Domainpop used to list them.

As Mikey said use Yahoo or Webmaster tools.

    Thanks Brian

Google Webmaster Tool, Yahoo Site Explorer and other backlink checker will include all the back links to my site. That may include press release, forum discussions, resellers....etc.

I need a tool that I can input the directory URLs, or any site's URL that I would like to check if my site is included.

Does anyone know if this is available ?

MysticMedia provides a free link checker for download. It runs on your PC and checks a URL to see if your link is active there. It can't check a whole directory though.

I'm sure I tried that and found it okay but will wait until it can do more.
