Found a New PR5 backlink

Look at the image above. I was doing a backlink check for a travel website and look what I found. I guess AOL member profiles give PR5 backlinks. Anyone have an AOL account and would like to create a page and add our links?

i'm sure PR for AOL pages vary, just like every other site. i doubt you could sign up and instantly have a PR5 site!

Nevermind, I was simply implying that maybe if you have a backlink on a AOL member page you can get aq PR5 backlink like the one in the picture.

That's not a "profile" page. AOL subscribers get some free web space and can use it for web pages.

According to the Internet Archives, that page has been online since May of 1999, so it's not surprising that it has a PR5. If you were to add a page to an AOL account today, you would certainly not have an instant PR5 page.

I have some high PR AOL pages myself (some that are 10 years old with thousands of back links). I don't really even need AOL anymore but I keep paying the $23.95 per month because I earn far more than that from those pages (including the value of instant backlinks for my new sites).
