isn't it somekind of spamming keywords, just like you said two times in description and in many places of the page.

 

not if you do it wisely. twice in the description (with variation), once in the title, and around 4%-5% keyword density through out the content page have produced good results for me so far

i however think this thread should be posted under SEO, not under adsense
