Forbid Google Site Search directly in Google

Is it possible to forbid this site search directly in Google, maybe via Webmaster Tools or meta tag?

Just dnt use it .

Within this year , yahoo would be introducing a new algorithm which has been claimed to be better than google's .

 

But as a website owner, i want to forbid this site search. Is it possible?

 

I am not sure how .
The site search feature is limited to only a few keywords.

Also it might have a positive impact on your site .

I am a coop user , and what i have done is that i allow users to search just my own site with the search box .
I get the traffic back rather than lose it .

 

I see. I guess you can disable this search, amazon.com did it.

But i dont know how.
