Hi, I just purchased manually link submission to 500 directory. But i only received about 20 emails (notification/confirmation) Even though the guy claims he submitted to 500 sites manually. So my question to you guys is that: Can is that possible that many sites can be submitted without email ( notification or confirmation) Thanks
Yeah, definitely possible. Many directory owners disabled sending notifications. Maybe you'll get a few more when your site is approved.
This is impossible, if you submitted your site in 500 free directories then you will get about 300+ emails form directories Yeah not all directories will send you emails about 45-50% are sending submission emails but 20 emails out of 500 submission seem like a joke Raj
Yes i submit to many and lots of them never send an email for anything, if you need to know you often have to check yourself later to see what may have been successful.
I think if he claimed to submit to 500 directories then you should have received more than 20 email notifications, out of 500 I remember I got over 100 email notifications but this was some time ago. Then again it depends on the directories he submitted to.
Most of the directories send message your site is pending approval.Only few websites requires confirmation.
Well that doesn't sound like 500 where submitted to as mentioned above you should have received more then 20 emails from 500 submissions What about the Submission report? It should have where your site was submitted too with the categories that where suggested by them for your site. thx malcolm
100 is about right for notification, most of which should arrive very quickly or instantly after the submission. Either the person didn't submit, or you are having email blocking problems. A lot of directory confirmation emails end up blocked as spam because the text of most of them is very similar.
You should have received a report of the directories submitted to - audit some of them by picking some at random and go there and try to submit your site. If your site has been submitted and is in que it will not allow you to resubmit in most cases.
The OP has purchased my service which has an overall good feedback & is among the lowest priced for the quantity & quality. I agree that 20 is a low number indeed & have offered to have the order redone and send him screenshots of submissions. Obelia is correct about a 100 initially; I've mentioned this in my thread as well.
That's too less. You should get more confirmations. You can check it with the submission report that you might be having.
Sadly your right on the truth there, not that we use them but we tested a few after we received several complaints. Don't use them unless they come very highly recommended by someone you know personally or from a reputable source.
You can ask for a detail report containing the page of submission Here is a sample report http://www.inetzeal.com/reporting/samplereport.htm A detailed report should look like this only
