You have possibly broken the TOS such as invalid clicks. They banned you to protect their Adwords users.

Email to see if they will tell you the real reason for this. AdSense is just not worth messing with - and that is why I switched to running audio ads on my sites.

This is not your fault, I do not think you broke Google TOS, just that if you check Feb Comsense Google's growth is stagnant, I suspect they are trying to get rid of sites they deem as not good and concentrate on getting quality sites in the hope of improving their adverts revenue.

Did you click on your own ads?
They're telling you your account is closed because of fraud / violation of ToS

Just do not do it. Do not tell your friends or your cat what your sites are. Just do not do it. Only Google knows how they detect fraud, but it could range from the information you send out by using the Google Toolbar to the unusulness of 50 clicks in one day from the same region.

I would partially agree, don't tell anyone about your adsense sites, do not put in signatures, you never know, it can be an enemy or even a friend who is jealous of your earnings.

But I would disagree on the cat part, no harm telling your cats and dogs, not sure about parrots though :)

if someone clicks on your ad 50 times, that suspicious. why would someone from same IP click on a specific publisher's ad 50 times? even if you didn;t tell anyone to click on your ad and got click bombed, still google might disable your acount unless you can prove that you were a target of click bombing. burden lies on you to prove that you didn;t have anything to do with those clicks

Never ever never encourage or initiate clicks of your own ads no matter who it is. I'd follow aj's advice to the letter making sure to provide the necessary logs and IP's they require in the appeal. It's a 50/50 shot you'll get reinstated, though my persistence didn't pay off I know for many it has. Good luck, lesson learned eh?

Don't tell your friends/family about your sites. If you do, fraud clicks will happen one day.

Do you use adwords to drive traffic to your adsense pages, then that might be possibly the reason, it is called adsense arbitrage
One needs to be very careful in using adwords traffic in your adsense pages
You can reason with them stating that this process will not be used in future, they might accept you back
