LOL a dumb mack I use vista and its all good here, the big problems I usually see are the ones that try to use some software from xp ect
I am using home edition ad its not advisable. I heard the ultimate is running well. But I know from my experience that will need ultimate space.
It's requires very high configuration, otherwise it's does not works well. My best choice is XP with SP 2
Vista is not too bad. Takes some getting used to, but make sure you have a lot of hardware (2gb of ram min). Best, Sam
I am also happy with my XP, when i got the laptop (with vista); from the very first day i installed window xp on my laptop, because i heard from some of my friends that xp is better than vista. Thanks...
when i got my new laptop it came pre installed with vista. It worked quite well for some days and then crashed. Then i reinstalled it and after that its working perfectly fine.
I have 32-bit xp and will probably upgrade to 64-bit vista so I can use my memory, I will let you know what its like. I'm sure it will be better since I will be using the full 4 gigs of memory.
Vista has a few security benefits, but SP1 was great and has made Vista slightly faster in large file transfers and a bit more user friendly.
