Heya you all, Not long ago I finished setting up my campaign in google adwords and YSM (i`m probably going going to add it also to adCenter sometime in the near future). With the low funds that I had to start I launched my campiagn a few times, each time I found my flaws and fixed them and now it looks like its all going to be great when I activate it, but one small thing... I`m really short on funds for my campaign so I`ve decided to SEO about 12 of my top adgroups as I have around 100+ adgroups in my campaign Now.. I`m what some may call a "half-newbie" in SEOing... as i know the basics but still having hard time figuring where`s right and left... I`m sure it has been asked in this forum many times, but man... I need some pinpoints cos I`m sure i`ll make a lot of mistakes if I just go and do it without doing all the "theory" researching before... I know that there`s the major article submission sites which are ezine articles and squidoo if i recall... For now to just submit my 12 adgroups there would be fine but the question is how and what more is it to it?? If I recall right from my previous training in SEO, for each article directory I need to submit different variations of my 12 adgorups... i mean... 12 different articles for ezine, and 12 different for squidoo and each article has to be at least 70% unique or it`ll be counted as "double posting" and wont get listed in google... Is it right?? please some one tell me cos I dont want to make mistakes and find out that i made them shortly after... after I submit my articles I wait a week or so and see me articles displayed in google?? btw, about the writing of the articles; I need to have like 400-700 words in it in average and place my keyword like 7 times in the article: 1 in the very beginning of the title, 1 at the very end of the text (just before the dot that closes the article) and the other 5 in the middle?? is it right???? plz plz plz tell me if it is/isnt and one last thing.... my site... I already have it and its all cool and jivvy but I heard somewhere that I need to have internal link in it so google will like it more and give it better rates, i mean, for example, link for homepage, link for "contact me", n` shyt like that xD is it true?? and also is it good to have an outgoing links to other sites exept me hoplink (affiliated site)?? currently my site has a single landing page for each adgorup (100+ landing pages total) (there are no links to my site in the landing pages, just my hoplinks and contact info (my email)) the text is same for all but I edited the keywords in each, so lets say theres for example "buy good golden retriever food" in the "golden retriever adgroup and "buy good lavrador food" in the lavrador adgorup (just an example ) please gimme some tips for better SEO, and if possible also redirects to existing "already answered" threads. thanks, tony

thanks for the link man xD some very usful information there for a newbie, although it only tells you how to SEO a site that you sell your stuff from there and not an affiliate marketer... I mean.. I dont need my site to be indexed anywhere, i mean, it might be good but im not going to wait 6 months until all my 100+ landing pages are listed. I need to know how to submit articles to sites such as ezine articles and squidoo so THEY will list me and i`ll enjoy a high PR redirect to me site xD btw, could someone also explain me the following terms, cos im poretty much confused here: -what is a human sitemap? -what is google/yahoo sitemap? -what is a backlink? -and what is and outbound link?? and just to verify my knowledge... is an outgoing link is a link that I link from MY site to OTHER site?? aww, btw, If im going to use the article marketing approach, is it a good idea to submit my site with an automated webpage submitter or will it be just a waste of time??? please answer guys, i`ll be in your debt forever tony

PPC is tough to make money with. I tell most clients to focus on SEO which is really just creating a well structured a thought out website. They use PPC for a little while until their rankings get to page one.

I already got the basics, I already know PPC, I already have tops spots with my PPC, and I already have a successful website for PPC propouses (which is perfect for SEO too), I just need someone to verify or fix me about what I said above, plzzzzzzzzzz I dont need those lecturing posts sayin that "I need to learn how to SEO", I need to know HOW, or at least for someone to verify what I wrote. thanks, tony
Tony I am sorry but if you are asking these questions you should bgin from the basics.Ppc and seo are different.Those article thing did not looked good to me and it will be hard to do. -what is a human sitemap? http://www.sitemaps.org/ -what is google/yahoo sitemap? http://www.sitemaps.org/ -what is a backlink? -and what is and outbound link?? if you do some search on the forum and accept that you don't know much it will be easier for everyone cause it is hard to start from the basics.Cause seo is not a magic pill.
Well.. at first I created my site for PPC/SEO propouses so in the creating procces I`ve SEOed it to i`ll be all good and great for SEO propouses and PPC so all the keyword positioning and all is good there (I think) but from the link to sitesmaps that u gave me (thanks btw xD) I think that I need to add a sitemap meta to my site... but what sites to i include in my xml?? do I add all my 100+ landing pages into there (including my homepage)?? or do i just include only the landing page that it`s on there?? btw, is putting links such as "home" and "contact me" links to the top of my site improve the crawling rate?? or is it also good the have a stand-alone landing page with a sitemap?? but still... what is a backlink and an outbound link?? tony
Firstly I am telling you to start from the basics and don't take it personely but you have to change your view. For ppc you can make different landing pages and aim them but for seo your strongest page is your homepage that is your main landing page you can not define a lot of landing pages and your site should be sef (search engine friendly) so when watching a backlink(a link to your site from another site) the search engine robots comes to your site and they should(must) travel all of your site.If a page does not have a link from an outer site or your home page or sub pages it won't rank although if it was listed in the sitemap. I'll stop writing here cause I'll begin to talk nonsense cause there is a lot of work and words. lol xD but say... what do you mean by "If a page does not have a link from an outer site or your home page or sub pages"?? and is I didnt get an answer about if i need to put in the xml format of the sitemap ALL my 100+ landing pages plus homepage, or just the landing page that the sitemap is on?????????? and I have already thought about it and ive came to the conclusion that having one main site would ABSOLUTELY wont fit my campaign as it has to be relevant to the article... in anyways... maybe could someone please answer my question in my first post?? please, im eager to start writing articles but i HAVE to verify that what I know (or think that i know) about article marketing is true. thanks, tony

What I understood from what you said. You need to upload articles to ezines. How many articles do you want to upload, 12 or 100+? Either ways you are advised to submit different articles each. To answer the rest I need to know what is your purpose of submitting to ezines. To attract visitors? Or to build your backlinks? What is your overal objectives. You said you have done PPC, well that's totally different than SEO. If you use PPC you don't even have to SEO your page. i still dun get it... what are backlinks???? what i wanna do if for people read my article, get redirected to me site and then get redirectted from me site with my hoplink to the seller`s site, why else would I want to write articles for??

Backlink is a link which is located on other webpage that refers to your wepage. So what you actually want is for people to read your articles then hopefully they go to your site and if you're lucky they hit your affiliate link and hopefully they buy your affiliate product for you to earn some commission. That's easy. Just upload your articles to any article directories. I used a tool called Article Submitter for that reason. Easier & faster. FREE version has smaller number of directories compare to paid version. To ensure your links inside the articles are SEO friendly, use your webpage title as part of your anchor text. That's all. I've created so many pages & it only took between 1-5 days to get listed in google SERP. Listing in article directories wouldn't guarantee that your page will get high PR. To be exact.. how you get your page ranked higher is by having your link with a right anchoring text on a higher PR pages. You can even get it ranked if you leave your link in this forums (some pages have even PR5). I hope you understand the basic concept of ranking. BTW webpage & website is two different meaning. Human sitemap - sitemap that is readable & understandable by readers. Google sitemap. - sitemap in XML that is understandable by Google bot Backlink - already explained. Outbound link - link to some other web page from your page.
